Claude Code plugin
The easyi18n plugin for Claude Code bundles the MCP server, a setting for your agent key, two skills and a doctor command. It installs the CLI version it was built for, so you do not need Dart or Node.js.
The plugin is published to the liontude/easyi18n-agents marketplace with CLI 0.13.0. Until then, register the server with the Claude Code snippet.
Install
In Claude Code:
/plugin marketplace add liontude/easyi18n-agents
/plugin install easyi18n@easyi18n
The first session after the install downloads the plugin's CLI version from
its release and verifies
it against the release's SHA256SUMS. If an easyi18n on your PATH, or
dart pub global run easyi18n_cli:easyi18n, reports exactly that version, the
plugin uses it instead. It ignores any other version, including an older one
without mcp.
Add your agent key
- In the dashboard, open your project's Settings → API keys → New API key, choose the scopes and set Used by to AI agent. See Approvals and the agent key.
- In Claude Code, open
/plugin, select easyi18n, then Configure, and paste the key. Claude Code stores it as a sensitive setting. - Check the connection with
/mcp.
You can install the plugin before you have a key. The setup skill runs without one and tells you when to add it.
What it contains
| Part | What it does |
|---|---|
| MCP server | easyi18n mcp, with the key from the plugin setting as EASYI18N_TOKEN. See MCP server. |
easyi18n-setup skill | Takes the repository from nothing to ready to translate: detects Flutter or Xcode, runs init and doctor, and shows what would be translated. Spends nothing. |
easyi18n-translate skill | Runs the translation loop, with the two dashboard approvals, then pulls the result. |
/easyi18n-doctor | Runs doctor and fixes failing checks until none fail. |
The skills are the server's setup and translate prompts, so the plugin and
other clients follow the same steps. Ask Claude to add easyi18n to the project,
or to translate and publish, and it picks the matching skill.
Several projects, one machine
The plugin setting holds one key. A team that works on several easyi18n
projects can instead give each repository its own server entry in a
.mcp.json at the project root, reading the key from the environment Claude
Code was started in:

The file holds no key, so it can be committed.
